Where did it all start?
Like all great stories, ours began in what was a type of bat cave in old town Antibes, France, back in 2008. The co-founders of Oceanway were brought on as the head of digital, and sales and marketing manager at a major yachting brand, tasked with navigating the challenges posed by the global financial crisis, in the company of a team of highly skilled professionals.
They not only rose to the occasion but also had a blast - working together for seven years before pursuing their individual paths - always with a focus on business development, user experience and interface design.
Over the years, both founders have experienced fragmented businesses and the impact on the bottom line, company culture, and team morale. When communications and operations become unnecessarily disjointed, time is wasted, and realistically, the operation looks messy - because it is. In these instances, we found that the brand image didn't align with the quality of the product or service but with the internal disorganisation.
Fast forward to 2024... And Oceanway was born!
